BOZON API the Database of Warnings of Foreign Supervisory Authorities, was shown for the first time to representatives of the banking sector.
The meeting, which took place on May 24 at the Office of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, Jacek Jastrzębski, Polish Financial Supervision Authority. The premiere presentation was also attended by Marcin Mikołajczyk, Deputy Chairman of the KNF.
Zbigniew Wiliński, Director of the Financial Innovation Department of Fintech, supported by the KNF interface of the BOZON API application, according to data from the List of Public Warnings of the KNF (LOP) and the Base of Warnings of Foreign Supervisory Authorities from the website lop.knf.gov.pl. BOZON API contains a list of public warnings from many countries in Europe and the world. Until now, it has not been possible to bring together entity alerts from so many sources at one point. Such support to financial market participants, as well as AML/KYC documents and processes, assistance by financial institutions.
BOZON API is designed for institutions that are innovative on the software market and enable the implementation of ICT systems. Moreover, the purpose of making the API available is, among others, support for simple institutions on the market in public AML/KYC processes.
During the meeting, Patryk Seremak, an Expert at the Department of Financial Innovation Fintech, explained how the BOZON API works and what functions it contains. It was also shown that the interface is so simple and friendly that it can work with any ICT system. The interface has been fixed so that its implementation is fast and allows real-world data sharing.
Present at the meeting in the banking sector, the BOZON API interface was normally presented and the introduction of an additional system with several functions that will increase its usefulness in starting work.
The interface is available 24/7 at www.fintech.gov.pl in the UKNF for the Market / BOZON API application. The prepared solution is periodically updated and its use is free of charge.
