The proposal for an Act, accepted on 28 February 2023, aims to  equalise the documents in the mObywatel app and traditional documents. Both forms of documents will have the same legal force.

The proposal also provides for at least 20 new services in the app. The app will enable the issuance of powers of attorney to handle official matters and the payment of administration fees.
