The project of the Structural Reform Support Programme (Program Wspierania Reform Strukturalnych, PWRS) “Feasibility study on innovative technological solutions in the Polish financial market and identification of any legal, regulatory and supervisory impediments to its use, especially regarding DLT and RegTech ((#FinTech) & sandbox has been completed. The Polish Financial Supervision Authority (“UKNF”) was one of the beneficiaries of two parallel streams:

• support for the development of a regulatory sandbox model, and
• analysis of selected SupTech tools.

The project was implemented by a consortium of private sector consultants contracted by an external contractor, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, on behalf of the European Commission – Directorate-General for Structural Reform Support.

The products of the PWRS support will be one of the elements on the basis of which the UKNF will decide on a possible regulatory sandbox model to be implemented in the national legal order.
