On July 30 2025, the Working Group on Digital Asset appointed by the U.S. President Donald Trump published a report outlining the main goals and assumptions regarding the regulation of digital assets in the United States. This report addresses, inter alia, the following issues:
- strengthening the role of the United States as a leader in digital asset markets;
- a proposal of changes to banking regulations with regards to enabling banks to provide services related to digital assets;
- a proposal to ban work on the development of the digital dollar;
- ensuring a fair approach to the taxation of digital assets
