On 19 November 2021, the European Securities and Markets Authority (“ESMA”) published updated Questions and Answers (Q&As) on the so-called Crowdfunding Regulation (“Regulation”)[1].
The updated Q&As address investor protection and the rules for the functioning of crowdfunding service providers in the current transition period.
The Regulation lays down, among others, the requirements for the provision of crowdfunding services, and for the organisation, authorisation and supervision of crowdfunding service providers.
